VENETIAN NPL VEGAS OPEN EXTENDED TO DAY 4


Three players will return for Day 4 of the three day National Poker League Vegas Open Championship. The additional day was required after the final table played until 1 AM and three players remained with chips in the $15K event. Although the players wanted to continue they agreed to return at 3 PM Thursday to finish. The returning players and their chip counts are:David Singer – $1,014,000
Antonio Salorio – $444,000
Allen Cunningham – $252,000
Allen began the final table as the chip leader with $630,000 and continue to lead until he ran into a David Singer rush late in the day and helped push Singer’s stacks over the one million mark. The winner will receive $325,105, second place takes down $203,191 and third will leave with $130,042.
Toto Leonidas finished fourth and received $$89,404 – Nikolay Evdakov was eliminated in the fifth spot for $65,021 – and an unlucky Mikael Thuritz was the bubble boy and left the final table with zero.
