Riviera offers 1000x odds on craps

The best bet in a casino is the odds bet in craps, and you should take as full odds as the casino allows and your bankroll can afford.

In other games, there’s a strong house edge (slot machines being the worst).  In roulette, you don’t get the true odds of your win.

The only other best game to play is double-up in video poker, although that’s scarce.  That’s the game where on any video poker win, you’re given the option to double-up, up to a certain number of times.  It’s like flipping a coin.  And that’s the best bet in a casino, because the casino doesn’t take anything from it if you win.  In fact, they may give you something extra in the form of comps.

Same with craps, where you get exactly what you should get when you back up your pass line bet with full odds (although the dealers don’t factor odds bets into your comp rating).

In Las Vegas, Casino Royale offer the highest on the Strip at 100x odds on both of their craps tables.

But did you know that Riviera has now upped everyone by going up to a mammoth 1000x odds?  We don’t know if we’ve ever heard of any casino offering 100x.

Imagine placing the table minimum of $5 on the pass line, then backing it up $5,000.  And when getting paid for it, Riviera doesn’t make anything from you.

Though you still have to hit your point before getting 7, but hey, that’s not so hard, eh?
