HUNT FOR THE SKINWALKER BOOK READING

Tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., The Reading Room, that cool little indie book store steps from Mandalay Bay’s shopping walkway Mandalay Place, holds a book reading and signing by George Knapp, co-author (with Colm Kelleher, Ph.D.) of Hunt for the Skinwalker.

Skinwalker, whose subtitle is “Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah,” delves into the strange events of the unknown that have occurred the past 50 years at the Skinwalker property.

The authors spent hundreds of days at Skinwalker and personally observed and investigated such strange phenomena as:

• vanishing and mutilated cattle
• UFOs
• otherworldly creatures
• invisible objects with magnetic fields that cause cattle to stampede
• flying orbs of light
• a book reading on the Las Vegas Strip

After getting sufficiently freaked out, stop by next door to enjoy an equally bizarre Chocolate Swan.
