Only two days remain before the famous “Shuffle Up and Deal” command will announce to the thousands of poker players at the hundreds of poker tables in the gargantuan poker room of the 2011 World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas the start of the 2011 WSOP.

Events #2 ($500 buy-in Casino Employees)  and #3 ($25,000 buy-in Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship) will begin this year’s big poker show on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.  (Event #1, $1 million National Championshipship, is playing the final table at Caesars Palace today, Sunday, May 29)  The excitement will then continue around the clock for the next 7 weeks (daily through July 20, 2011) as 56 champions are crowned and handed the most coveted prize in poker, a WSOP gold bracelet.  Main Event Champion, event #58, is crowned in Novenber, 2011.
