ESPN ZONE TO CLOSE
We’re sad to hear that ESPN Zone, next to New York New York, will be closing.
Parent company Disney (yes, that Disney) will shutter the restaurant/store in seven cities, electing to only keep the ones that are tied to Disney stores.
The ESPN Zone in Las Vegas was smaller than others we’d been to, but a mainstay whenever we wanted to pop in for some big-screen action (and not feel the need to gamble).
The economy has particularly hit casual restaurants, those in between fast food and fine dining.
