Charlie Shoten

Bio: Charlie’s approach to poker reflects his approach to life. He brings an almost Zen like style of play and believes that self mastery is the key to becoming a better player. Become a better person and you will become a better poker player. Charlie “Scotty Warbucks” Shoten acquired the nickname during his years of play at Southern California poker clubs. Being a consistant winner he developed a paranoia about his identity and adopted the alias to remain anonymous. Charlie’s anonimity was short lived after numerous appearances on nationally televised poker tournament. Charlie continues to follow the tournament circuit and is writing a book to offer his approach to life and poker to everyone.
