Binion’s drops valet service
Binion’s Casino downtown Las Vegas
Whenever we drive downtown, we valet at Binion’s (not the garage one, but the one across from The California). It seems the easiest to get in and out of, and our car is always waiting right there.
Well, no more.
TLC Casino Enterprises, which owns Binion’s and which last year shuttered its 24-hour coffee shop, keno, and all of its hotel rooms (comped players can instead stay at Four Queens), has now announced that its valet parking service is being closed.
Twenty employees will be let go, and other employees at the unstable casino will also no longer get meals as part of their benefits (though they’ll be paid for one meal per shift).
Guests will still be able to use the spaces, they just will no longer be reserved for valet.
