BELLAGIO FIVE DIAMOND POKER TOURNAMENT DAY # 7

Event #7 of the Five Diamond Poker Tournament at the Bellagio began Thursday at Noon with 379 players. The $$2,000 + $100 Buy-in No-limit Hold’em event was down to 34 players at 10:00 pm. Scattered among the remaining players were some well known professionals vying for the first place money of $266,820 plus the bracelet and $25.5K seat in the 2007 WPT Championship next April at the Bellagio. The $735,260 total prize pool will pay the top 27 finishers. Event #6, a $1,500 + $90 Buy-in No-limit Hold’em contest was won by Jay Glazer after he outlasted the field of 519 players to take the $244,395 money, bracelet and $25.5K 2007 WPT seat.
