A WSOP Academy Main Event Primer is scheduled in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace just before the 2007 WSOP $10,000 Main Event at the Rio. From the press release:
“Where else can you have lunch with Phil Hellmuth, party with the top poker players in the world at PURE, have your play analyzed by Greg Raymer, and have Joe Navarro dissect a tell you’re giving away at the table? And if you don’t already have a seat to the Main Event, the two tournaments will allow you to put into action what you’ve learned and perhaps extend your stay in Vegas a little longer as you compete in the most prestigious poker tournament in the world.”
The Primer gives players an opportunity to sharpen their game while hanging out with poker royalty. First time Main Event players will gain an advantage because they will be more comfortable at the ME tables after interfacing with many of poker’s biggest stars. The cost of the WSOP Academy Main Event Primer is $2,199. Space is limited, and the event is expected sell out well in advance.
