Oscar’s will be housed within the silver clad, tethered saucer at the Plaza
The new steakhouse at the new Plaza in downtown Vegas has a new feature. And for Las Vegas, that’s saying something.
What remains to be seen is whether the restaurant will be called the classy Oscar’s (after former mayor Oscar Goodman) or the sleazy Beef, Booze, and Broads.
But if the latter, it would define the concept of the Hostess Bar, seen in Japan and some Japanese restaurants around the country.
At the restaurant, you can request a “broad” to sit with you while you dine. You pay extra for the service, and you can buy her dinner if you wish.
And it’s just that: a dining companion that you pay for. Nothing more is implied or expected,
The restaurant expects to open Dec. 15.
