You may be familiar with the Bellagio conservatory that changes every season (plus an extra “season” for Chinese New Year late January/early Feburary).
But did you know about the equally impressive exhibit right outside the Palazzo? It connects Palazzo with the mall that then leads to the Venetian, and has a huge waterfall and garden that’s decorated per season.
For Chinese New Year on Jan. 23, they’re going all out by installing a 128-foot, 8,000-pound red and gold water dragon.
Fifty people designed the look over the course of more than a year.
You’ll be able to see its progress over the next couple weeks.
When complete, the dragon will breathe fire and emit smoke at regular intervals.
The annual dragon dance will take place at The Palazzo at 1 p.m. on Jan. 23.
