I found a few photos of some of the ladies I regularly see and photograph at Las Vegas poker events and decided to share. None of the photographs have been published so thought they would make a nice Thursday reader’s bonus. Most of the big time poker tournament action continues in to be in Southern California with the most prominent being the California State Championships at Commerce Casino.
Tournament action will return to Las Vegas next week with Poker Player Newspaper sponsored The World Poker Dealer Championships at Binion’s in downtown Las Vegas. The first of four events begin Sunday, September 24, 2006, and continue through the 27th. All events are $1,000 + $100 entry fee and entrants must be employed in a card room. Complete details are available at PokerPlayerNewspaper.com.
We received an email with news that a group is funding an experiment to test the credibility and earning potential of the online gaming industry. They are providing three different online poker players with a $10K playing bank and then according to the press release they will play online for a calendar year according to strict playing guidelines. The objective is for each of the players to turn their bank into a million dollars. Amazingly, the experiment is called “Million Dollar Poker Experiment” and can be monitored on their website of the same name. Sounds interesting and could serve an even greater purpose by providing a definitive answer to a long running difference of opinion between the Prof and me concerning online poker. I look forward to being proved correct.
