Phil Hellmuth on way to record setting tenth WSOP win.
The Poker Brat defeated Juha Helppi to claim his tenth World series of Poker title. Event #34, $1,000 buy-in No-limit Hold’em with Rebuys, came to an end early this morning with Hellmuth holding all the chips and the title. Once again he goes into a three way tie for the most bracelets record with Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan. Our congratulations to Phil Hellmuth for the record setting win.
Wednesday is satellite day with no events scheduled to start. Many players will be trying to earn a cheap seat into the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event that begins on Friday.
