Fitzgeralds in Downtown Las Vegas
We knew that the brothers who own Golden Gate in downtown Las Vegas purchased Fitzgeralds, and we knew that Golden Gate is in the midst of a massive hotel renovation (they’re using the employee parking lot as the expansion for 60-some hotel rooms) that includes a radical outdoor sign.
Whenever popping by for shrimp cocktail (now moved to the café area because of construction), we always asked about the status of what will happen to Fitz, namely their new name. But the employees didn’t know.
Neondice.com scooped everyone by hunting around for new trademarks and stumbling upon something called The D Las Vegas, Longbar at the D Las Vegas, and D Bar.
